Ignite Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions Addendum
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
This Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions Addendum (the “Addendum”) supplements and forms part of the Ignite Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined in this Addendum have the meanings given to them in the Terms.
In the event of a conflict between this Addendum and the Terms concerning geographic access, sanctions, restricted persons, or Restricted Jurisdictions, this Addendum controls.
1. Restricted Jurisdictions
You may not access or use the Ignite website, applications, interfaces, APIs, trading interfaces, or other services operated or made available by Ignite (collectively, the “Services”) if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, incorporated or organized under the laws of, or accessing the Services from a Restricted Jurisdiction.
For purposes of this Addendum, the following are “Restricted Jurisdictions”:
- Belarus
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Russia
- Syria
- Ukraine
- United Kingdom
- United States of America, including its territories and possessions
Ignite may add, remove, or modify Restricted Jurisdictions where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, sanctions requirements, regulatory developments, risk-management requirements, or changes to the availability of the Services.
2. IP-Based Geographic Restrictions
Ignite may use Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, geolocation information, network information, device information, and other technical signals to determine the apparent location from which a user accesses the Services.
Access originating from an IP address identified as being within a Restricted Jurisdiction may be automatically blocked or restricted.
Ignite does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party IP-geolocation services and may apply additional geographic or account-level controls where reasonably necessary.
3. Prohibition on Circumvention
You must not attempt to circumvent any geographic restriction or other access control imposed by Ignite.
Prohibited conduct includes using a virtual private network (VPN), proxy server, remote desktop, tunneling service, IP-masking service, location-spoofing technology, or any other mechanism for the purpose of falsely representing or concealing your location or otherwise circumventing a restriction imposed under this Addendum.
Ignite may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services where it reasonably determines that a user has attempted to circumvent geographic restrictions.
4. Sanctions Compliance
Regardless of geographic location, you may not access or use the Services if you are:
- (a) subject to economic or trade sanctions administered or enforced by any governmental or regulatory authority applicable to Ignite or the Services;
- (b) identified on an applicable sanctions, blocked-person, prohibited-person, or restricted-party list;
- (c) owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by a person or entity subject to applicable sanctions where such ownership or control results in a legal prohibition;
- (d) acting for, on behalf of, or for the benefit of a sanctioned or prohibited person where providing the Services would violate applicable law; or
- (e) otherwise prohibited from receiving or using the Services under applicable sanctions, export-control, anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, or other applicable laws.
Relevant authorities may include, where applicable, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, His Majesty's Treasury (HM Treasury), and other competent sanctions authorities.
5. Wallet and Transaction Screening
Ignite may use blockchain analytics, sanctions-screening providers, risk-scoring systems, and other compliance tools to identify wallets or transactions associated with sanctioned persons, sanctioned jurisdictions, illicit activity, stolen assets, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other prohibited conduct.
Ignite may, to the extent permitted or required by applicable law and technically available within the relevant component of the Services:
- reject or restrict access;
- prevent transactions through Ignite-operated interfaces;
- restrict an account or wallet from interacting with operator-controlled functionality;
- require additional identity or source-of-funds information;
- suspend Services;
- take other measures required by applicable law; or
- make reports to competent authorities where legally required.
6. User Representations
By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- you are not located in or accessing the Services from a Restricted Jurisdiction;
- you are not a person prohibited from using the Services under Section 4;
- you are not using the Services on behalf of a prohibited person;
- you will not use technology to circumvent Ignite's geographic restrictions; and
- your access to and use of the Services complies with the laws and regulations applicable to you.
These representations are deemed repeated each time you access or use the Services.
7. No Right of Access
Availability of the Services in a particular jurisdiction does not constitute a representation that the Services, any digital asset, or any trading, spot, derivatives, perpetual, vault, liquidity, staking, yield, token-sale, or other functionality is lawful or authorized in that jurisdiction.
Ignite may restrict individual products or features independently of general access to the Services.
A user's ability to access a website, smart contract, blockchain network, API, or other technology does not constitute authorization by Ignite to use a restricted Service.
8. Decentralized Networks and Third-Party Technology
Certain blockchain networks, smart contracts, digital assets, wallets, or other decentralized technologies may exist independently of Ignite-operated Services.
Nothing in this Addendum represents that Ignite has the technical ability to prevent interaction with independent public blockchain infrastructure.
The restrictions in this Addendum apply to access to and use of Services operated, hosted, controlled, or otherwise made available by Ignite to the extent Ignite can lawfully and technically enforce those restrictions.
9. Enforcement
If Ignite determines or reasonably suspects that a user has violated this Addendum, Ignite may take appropriate action with respect to Ignite-operated Services, including restricting or terminating access, disabling particular functionality, rejecting requests submitted through operator-controlled interfaces or APIs, or requiring additional verification.
Ignite may take such action without prior notice where required by law, necessary for sanctions compliance, or reasonably necessary to protect the Services.
10. Changes to Restrictions
Laws, sanctions programs, and regulatory requirements may change rapidly. Ignite may update this Addendum and its Restricted Jurisdiction policies from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, sanctions programs, product availability, or Ignite's compliance and risk-management policies.
Continued use of the Services after an updated Addendum becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Relationship to the Terms
Except as expressly modified by this Addendum, the Terms remain in full force and effect.
IMPORTANT: If you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or accessing the Services from a Restricted Jurisdiction, you must not access or use the Services. Attempting to circumvent Ignite's geographic restrictions through a VPN, proxy, location-spoofing technology, or similar mechanism is prohibited.
